Jolene Harrison passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 in Tonkawa. She was 76 years old.

A funeral ceremony for Jolene will be held at the Trout Funeral Home Chapel in Tonkawa, Oklahoma on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Chris Cooper officiating. Following the ceremony, Jolene will be laid to rest next to her husband at Resthaven Memorial Park. Friends and loved ones may pay their respects at Trout Funeral Home of Tonkawa on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Casket bearers will be: Robert Harrison, Jeromy Harrison, Eugene Harrison, Joe Dale, Dallas Harrison, Sr., and Dalton Harrison. Honorary casket bearer will be Glenn Prince.

Jolene was born on May 15, 1942 in Ponca City to her parents, Earl E. Phillips and Ida Mae (Thomas) Phillips. She graduated from Ponca City High School and married William David Harrison on August 26, 1960 in Ponca City. The couple lived in Ponca City until 1965 when they moved to Blackwell. They moved to Tonkawa in 1972 where they lived the rest of their lives. Jolene worked at Northern Oklahoma College as the maintenance department secretary for 27 years.

Jolene was preceded in death by her parents, Earl E. Phillips and Ida Mae Thomas Phillips, husband, William Harrison, brother, Eugene Edward Phillips, brother, Douglas Muncie Phillips, sister, Jacqueline Baker, and sister, Earline Mae Arrington.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Harrison of Horseshoe, North Carolina and William Ted Harrison of Horseshoe, North Carolina, daughter, Rebecca Eline Harrison of Arkansas City, Kansas, sister, Colleen Cooper of Ponca City, and sister, Idaleen Arrington of Ponca City, multiple nieces and nephews, eight grandchildren, Jared Skinner, Mathew Skinner, Brian Schumacher, Melissa Carland, Brandon Harrison, Dalton Harrison, Cody Harrison, Robert Harrison and 12 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, 445 Fairview Ave., Ponca City, OK 74601.
