Obituary for Jeanne Allen

Jeanne M. Allen went home to be with her Savior on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014, at the age of 63. She passed away at home surrounded by family and loved ones. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Resthaven Memorial Park in Ponca City with Reverend Harold Hutchins of Osage Heights Baptist Church Officiating.

Jeanne was born to John and Ruby Leatherman McClung on July 11, 1951. She was the youngest of five children. She attended school in Uncas and Ponca City. She worked in the school system for several years, then in retail, then took up trucking with her husband Floyd. She enjoyed singing, listening to country music, being with friends and family and riding horses.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd T. Allen of Ponca City; one daughter Janet Warner and husband Ben of Ponca City; two grandchildren Benjamin and Amanda; two sisters, JoAn Hey and husband Lester of Midwest City; Joyce Amyx and husband Jack of Lawton; one brother John Robert McClung of Reno, Nevada.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Ruby McClung; and brother, Jerry McClung.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made in her name to the Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, Inc., 445 Fairview, Ponca City, OK 74601 or Osage Heights Baptist Church, 142 Tapp Road, Ponca City, OK 74604
