July 29, 1971 – February 17, 2016

Jean ”Jeannie” Marie Hoch of Ponca City went into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 17, 2016 at 6:43 a.m. in the presence of her loving family by her side at her home.

Jean Marie Hoch was born on July 29, 1971 in Ponca City to Robert Lindsey and Jimmie Margaret (Lindsey) Carter. She attended McCord and Ponca City Schools, graduating from Po-Hi in 1989. After graduating from Po-Hi she married the love of her life, Robert Catarino Hoch on July 28, 1990. To this union was born five beautiful children, Robert Catarino Hoch II, Quinlan James Montgomery Hoch, Gatlan Gage Carter Hoch, Tassie LaJean Hoch and Petrina Marie Courtland Hoch.

Jeannie was a born again Christian at the early age of five years. Dedicating her life to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and living her life to walk hand and hand with her Husband, Robert and raise her children under the blessings and admonitions of Jesus Christ.

Jeannie was a wife, mother, grandmother and loving caregiver to not only her family but to anyone who had a need. She had a mother’s heart to serve even at an early age. Her greatest joy was being a wife and mother, even after being diagnosed with a critical brain tumor she refused to let it slow her loving heart for others down. Jeannie was an avid reader and treasured her family game time and watching her hummingbirds and her family grow around her.

Jean is survived by her Mother, Margaret Carter of Ponca City, her Husband, Robert Hoch and daughters Petrina and Tassie Hoch and fiancé’ Koty Blakey of the home. Also her three sons, Robert Hoch II and his wife, Tamara; Quinlan Hoch and girlfriend Cassandra; Gatlan Hoch and girlfriend Davina all of Ponca City. She is also survived by her precious grandbabies, Robert Catarino Hoch III and Avery Joseph Lynn Hoch; Isabel Jaiden Hoch and Quinlan James Montgomery Hoch II and by baby Blakey due in July. Also her sister, Rachel McClelland and husband, John of Ponca City; extended families, Aunts, Uncles, nephews and cousins in Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Jim and Margaret Jones; Paul and Josephine Lindsey; her Mother-in-law Francis Hoch of Kansas her Fathers; Robert Lindsey and J.T. Carter.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 20, at The Life Center Church, 1300 West Grand, Ponca City, OK with Pastor Larry Kitchell officiating. Burial will follow at the Red Rock Cemetery, Red Rock Oklahoma under the care of Grace Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

Casket Bearers will be her three sons, Robert, Quinlan and Gatlan Hoch, Dakota McClelland, Dakota Blakey and John McClelland.

Family will be meeting at the home in the Osage.
