Jason Alan Yunker

July 24, 1982 – January 20, 2024

Jason Alan Yunker was born July 24, 1982 in Enid, Oklahoma and passed in Wichita, Kansas on Jan 20, 2024 after a brief illness. He graduated from Garber High School in 2001. He loved life, nature, and most of all his Lord & Savior. Jason loved all things fishing and hunting and spending time with his family. Jason never met a stranger and had the gift of gab. Those who knew him, knew he was always ready to sit and talk, he loved learning new things and sharing that knowledge to anyone who would listen. Discussing the Bible was his favorite pastime. He was employed at Double H in Enid, Oklahoma, where he was a truck driver.

On August 14, 2009, he married the love of his life, Lacie Inselman in Las Vegas, Nevada. With that union he gained a daughter, whom he cherished.

Survivors include; his wife, Lacie Yunker of the home, Perry, OK; daughter, Abby Budd and husband, Brian; parents, Don and Cindy Yunker of Billings, OK; brother, Brian Yunker and his wife Melanie of Enid, OK; grandparents, Ron and Darlene Schulz of Enid, OK; brother-in-law, Steven Inselman and wife, Erica of Stillwater, OK; father and mother-in-law, Matthew and Teresa Insleman of Ralston, OK; and lifelong best friend and second brother, Luke Peat and wife, Heather of Hunter, OK. Through this friendship, he gained nieces who knew him as uncle Jason. One niece, Temperance and one nephew, Levi through marriage, who he had unbreakable bonds with.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Perry, Oklahoma. Jason will be laid to rest at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry, Oklahoma. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Trout Funeral Home of Perry from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. Memorials can be made to Calvary Baptist Church in Perry, Oklahoma.
