Janice Presson, 83, beloved Mother, grandmother, and sister, was called to her eternal resting place on February 24, 2024. She entered this world on June 9, 1940, in Okeene, OK, born to Loyal S. Baker and Helen Nusz Baker.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2024, in the Odd Fellows Cemetery with Ryan Chapman officiating. Visitation will be Monday, February 26, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Grace Memorial Chapel with the family in attendance to receive friends and relatives from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Janice met the love of her life, Joe L. Presson, and on February 7, 1959, they were married and made their home in Ponca City, OK. She was a hairdresser for over 35 years. Janice enjoyed spending time with her family and spoiling her grandkids, she also was an accomplished seamstress. Janice Bowled for over 54 years and was very active in League bowling serving as president and league delegate.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children; Chris Presson and wife Nancy of Carlisle, IA, Kathryn Hurst and husband, J.R. Bill Presson and wife, Shauna of Newkirk, OK, and Kim Zimmerman and husband Terry of Magnolia, TX Grandchildren; Jeanie and Brandon Varela of Ponca City, OK, Keystal and Robert Hardy of Grandfield, OH, Courtney Hurst of Ponca City, OK Chance and Ashley Presson of Newton, KS, Cody and Christal Presson of Holly, MI, Taylor Grubb of Fort Worth, TX Treavor and Roslyn Presson of Choctaw, OK, Kaytlyn and Justin Sepeda of Blackwell, OK Chase and Tasha Hoyt of Newkirk, OK McKenzie Presson OF Newkirk, ok AND Chanel McHenry OF Ponca City, ok, Also surviving are her great grandchildren, Kennedy Grubb, Able Grubb, Amelia Grubb, Peyton Mashburn, Gracie Mashburn, Logan Mashburn, Kaylin Karter, Rip Presson , Mangus Hardy, Easton Hoyt, Keyshawn Sepeda Kyra Sepeda, Baine Eaves, Maverick Presson, and Daxton Presson, one sister, Jo Ellen Schickadanz and husband Gene of St Joseph, MO and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Terry Joe Presson, two sisters, Jackie Sargent, and Judy Ware.
