Obituary for J.D. Hall

James Dewey “J. D.” Hall Jr. of Ponca City, Oklahoma, died Sunday, March 29, 2015, at his home at the age of 63 years.

James Dewey “J. D.” Hall Jr. was born on July 19, 1951, in Ponca City to James Dewey “J. D.” and Betty Jean (McDaniel) Hall Sr. He grew up in Ponca City attending Ponca City Public Schools and graduated from Ponca City High School in 1970. He worked as a custodian until his retirement. He enjoyed attending movies and eating Chinese food. He loved his family and especially loved fishing with his grandchildren. He also loved animals and helping those less fortunate.

He is survived by a daughter, Amber Hall and fiancé Carlton Clardy of Ponca City; a son, Jason Hall of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Susan Anderson and husband Tom of Ponca City and Peggy Hammons and husband Doug of Oklahoma City; and two grandchildren, Micah Hall and Kiara Clardy both of Ponca City.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Jerry Hall.

A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, April 1st from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Roberts and Son Funeral Home. Cremation will follow with no services planned.
