Hal Duane Pritchett

March 9, 1943 – March 19, 2023

Hal Duane Pritchett, age 80, of Perry, Oklahoma passed away March 19, 2023 at home with his loving wife by his side. He was a loving husband, father, and grandpa (Pa) whose greatest joy came from his faith and family. Hal was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed working cattle, hunting, and fishing.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 AM on Friday, March 24, 2023 at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Father Bala Pudota officiating. Hal will be laid to rest at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery following the service. A rosary will take place at 6 PM on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Trout Funeral Home of Perry. Visitation will be Thursday, March 23,2023 from 8 AM to 8 PM at Trout Funeral Home of Perry.

Hal was born on March 9, 1943 in Perry, Oklahoma to Paul and Lila (Loula) Pritchett. Hal grew up in Perry and graduated from Perry High School in 1961. He proudly served his Country in the United States Army. Hal retired from Oklahoma Natural Gas after 31 years of service.

Survivors include: his wife, Carol Pritchett of Perry; daughters, Theresa Pritchett of Tulsa and Catherine Oakley and her husband, Jason of Perry; son, P.R. Pritchett and his wife, Dianna of Piedmont; grandchildren, Jonathon Pritchett, Caroline Pritchett, Hallie Oakley, Colt Pritchett, and Christina Pritchett; sister, Paula Kay (Pritchett) Thompson of Fort Worth, Texas; sister in laws, Theresa Smith and Barbara Nagel; and numerous friends and family.

Hal is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth Pritchett, and brother in law, Bud Nagel.

Casketbearers are Jeff Davis, Travis Wilhelm, Connelly Wade, John McLarty, Rex Brown, and JP Davis. Honorary casketbearers are Terry Leonard, Tom Davis, Herb Brand, and Dwaine Dillard.
