May 9, 1933 – February 21, 2023

Gene Ray Kroll, age 89, of Perry, Oklahoma passed away February 21, 2023 in Perry, Oklahoma.

A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 2 PM at the Christ Lutheran Church in Perry with Rev. John Wackler officiating. Gene will be laid to rest at Richburg Cemetery following the service.

Gene was born on May 9, 1933 in Garber, Oklahoma to George and Lottie Marie (Goedeke) Kroll. He graduated from high school and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Gene married Stella Spence at the First Lutheran Church in Fort Smith, Arkansas on September 2, 1954. He retired as Farming District Director at the USDA.

Survivors include: his wife, Stella Kroll of Perry, OK; daughter, Deborah Rodriguez of Perry, OK; son, Danny (Linda) Kroll of Perry, OK; son, Dennis (Vickie) Kroll of League City, TX; brother, Johnny Kroll of Perry, OK; sisters, Luella Stacy of Blackwell, OK and Lucille Stowers of Lamont, OK; nine grandchildren, Melissa (Stephen) Pointer of Kerman, CA, Martha (Marcelino) Martinez of Clovis, CA, Meredith (Patrick) Feller of Clovis, CA, Matthew Kroll of Nisshin, Japan, Amanda Chipman of League City, TX, Matt Rodriguez of Tulsa, OK, Chandra (Matthew) Menendez of Oklahoma City, OK, Chelsea (Brad) Price of Edmond, OK, and Jonathan Kroll of Stillwater, OK; and nine great grandchildren, Madison & Jaxson Feller, Carlie & Alissa Chipman, Eric & Amelia Pointer, Maddox & Maisyn Martinez, Madison Lynn Menendez, and one arriving in April is Owen Price.

Gene is preceded in death by his parents, George and Lottie Marie Kroll and brother, Dean Kroll.
