February 9, 1961 – May 17, 2018

Gary Gregg Lifelong Kay County resident passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 in Stillwater, OK with his loving wife by his side. He was 57 years of age. He was born on February 9, 1961 in Ponca City, OK to Gerald and Carol Ann Steckman Gregg.

Celebration of life mass will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in the St Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Carson Krittenbrink officiating. Visitation will be Monday, May 21, 2018 in the Grace Memorial chapel from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the family in attendance to receive friends and relatives from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Memorials contributions are asked to be made to Autism Support Center 220 Village Circle Dr. Ponca City, OK 74601. Arrangements are under the care of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City.

Gary graduated from Newkirk High in 1979 and he later attended NOC for a time. He worked for Wal Mart for over 20 years, serving as the loss prevention manager the last 5 years. He was known for befriending all he met and would visit with anyone he encountered. Gary enjoyed volunteering for the Poncan Theater, extra eyes with the Ponca City Police Department and chairing numerous Blood drives thru Wal Mart. Gary also enjoyed watching Live PD and medical shows on TV. Gary married the love of his life Marilyn Kokojan on October 18, 2013 and they made their home in Ponca City.

Gary is survived by his wife; Marilyn of the Home; 1 son; Jeremy Gregg and 1 daughter; Sarah Gregg both of Ponca City, OK 3 grandchildren; Gunner, Stark and Henley. Mother; Carol Gregg of Ponca City, OK 1 brother; Jeff Gregg and wife Kim of Bartlesville, OK 2 sisters; Tressa Winters and husband Dave of Ponca City, OK and Christine Stansbery of Seattle, Washington. Also surviving are his 8 Nephews; Travis Montgomery, Brett Thomas, Jackson Holt, Fletcher Holt, Nathan Gregg, Bryson Stansbery, Zack Stansbery, Ryan Merrifield and 5 nieces; Lauren Thomas, Erin Thomas, Piper Holt, Ashley Gregg, Haylie Brantley. Brother and sister in laws; Chris and Cathy Merrifield Mark and Maqui Kokojan and their son Caleb Kokojan. Gary is also survived by several Aunts and Uncles.
