They were all raised in Osage county in the Braden District and Mt. Grove, Mo.

She attended Burbank first grade where she was the only girl in the class. Then attended Garfield Elementary in Ponca City. In junior high she met the love of her life, Jimmy “Jim” Lee Mauk, Sr., now deceased. They began their 60 year adventure together. While in high school they married on Aug. 30 1952, at the First Christian Church Chapel. After which, Jim joined the Marine Corps and Ann joined him in Norfolk, Va., where the oldest of their five children were born. In 1976 they owned and operated “The Branding Iron Cafe” and Jim ran Jim’s Pool Hall. She went to work for Conoco Food Services where she retired in 1991.

Ann was always involved with her family always standing beside her man “Big Jim” and helped the working daughters with her granddaughters; Jordan Jamison and Crissi Loch, who graced her with her first great-grandchild this year, Sequin Lee Graves. Her life was her family and living on the farm in the Osage, SE of the City.
