Obituary for Ella Taylor

Ella Mae Mitchell Taylor 1941 – 2015. Ella Mae, our wife, mother, grandmother and family rock, passed away May 26th in Ponca City, OK from complications due to age. She passed away with her sweet husband of 52 years at her side.

Born June 7, 1941 to Melvin Mitchell and Frances Tolbert in Abraham, Utah. She married Maynard Taylor February 16th, 1963 in Delta, Utah. They were later sealed for time and all eternity with their children in the Salt Lake City Temple. They had 3 children together. Wayne, Dean, and Bettina. Ella Mae was a sweet, kind, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her. She always loved to hear what her grandchildren were doing and so proud of their accomplishments.

Ella Mae was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as a faithful Primary teacher in the Ponca City LDS Ward.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 siblings. She is survived by her husband Maynard, children Wayne (Michelle) Taylor, Dean (Jennifer) Taylor, Bettina (Chris) Young, 4 siblings; and 12 grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30th, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel located at 2408 E Hartford, Ponca City. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
