Dorothy’s life began in Kaw City, Oklahoma, on October 12, 1936, born to John and Mary (Howell) Nottingham. On September 28, 1957, she married the love of her life Thomas Morgan, in Sallisaw, OK and remained happily married for 61 wonderful years. Dorothy and Tom lived in Dallas, TX, with their family for many years before returning to Ponca City.
Dorothy found solace and community within the embrace of Ranch Drive Baptist Church. Her passions were as vibrant as her spirit, as she adored horses and dogs, relished family gatherings, and demonstrated her love through her culinary creations and shopping adventures. Camping under the starry night sky, hosting large dinners, and caring for her cherished fur babies, Bella and Willow, were sources of joy for her.

Dorothy’s memory lives on through her devoted children, Cathy Jackman, Janice Morgan and her partner, Raymond, Tommy Morgan and his partner, Becky, and Cindy Morgan, all residents of Ponca City, OK. She also leaves behind a legacy of love carried by her grandchildren, Angela and her spouse, Charles, Michelle, Nicole, Jeremy and his spouse, Ashley, Tommy, James, Justin, Cody, Kristen, and Sarah, along with several cherished great-grandchildren.
