Charles Michael Quinlan

(April 14, 1962 – March 13, 2017)

Charles Michael Quinlan of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017, in the Via Christi St. Francis Hospital, Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 54 years.

Charles Michael Quinlan was born on April 14, 1962, in Blackwell, Oklahoma. His parents were Carl Eugene and Mary Lucille (Akin) Stauhs. He enjoyed listening to music, going to concerts, dancing, inviting friends over to grill out and was the life of the party. He love watching Oklahoma University football and the Dallas Cowboys. He was a dedicated truck driver for 37 years and was currently employed at Roserock Midstream Field Services. He was a hard worker and very loyal to his job, friends and family. He loved to laugh and spend time with his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by three daughters, Heather Sumner of Ponca City, Shelby Quinlan and friend Blake Cless of Enid, and Mickey Quinlan and friend Nick Cramer of Ponca City; one son, Michael Quinlan and friend Miranda Suitor of Enid; girlfriend, Lori Cobb of Blackwell; two sisters, Virginia Bradley and husband Jerry of Blackwell, and Debbie Kennon and husband Wade of Nardin; two grandchildren, Michael Sumner and Madden Bolay of Ponca City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother John Quinlan.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 20, 2017, in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel, Blackwell, Oklahoma, With Rev. Greg Clinage, Harvest Assembly of God Church, Medford, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at the Blackwell Cemetery, Blackwell, Oklahoma.
