Bruce Wayne Wilson

(June 30, 1975 – December 21, 2016)

Bruce Wayne Wilson, resident of Perry, Oklahoma passed away on December 21, 2016 at Integris Health Edmond in Edmond, Oklahoma. He was 41.

Bruce was born the son of Gary and Linda (Stroo) Wilson in Perry, Oklahoma on June 30, 1975. In March of 2016, Bruce was diagnosed with cancer. After an extremely hard fight, he was declared cancer free in November 2016. Bruce was delighted he beat cancer and was also very proud of his tattoos, two dogs Harley and Baby, and his ex wife Britney (Whitaker) Wilson.

Bruce is survived by his parents, brother Brian Wilson, nephews Alex and Aiden Wilson, girlfriend Toni Brooks, Aunt Sandy and Uncle Harvey Hentges, Aunt Mell and Uncle Joe Bruson, uncle Don Kirpatrick, multiple cousins, and special friends, Amy Clotiaux and her son, Blessed and Rayna Sullins.

He was preceded in death by his dog Chloe, paternal grandparents E.L. and Amelia Wilson, maternal grandfather Johnny Stroo and maternal grandmother Cleo Bryant and her husband, Leon.

A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Christ Lutheran Fellowship Hall, 2:00 pm. The care of the family is entrusted to Trout Funeral Home of Perry. Online condolences may be made at www.troutfuneralhome.com .

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to cover Bruce’s funeral expenses, Care of First Bank and Trust of Perry.
