Beulah Lucille Hill

(August 1, 1920 – April 25, 2017)

Beulah Lucille Hill of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Tuesday morning, April 25, 2017, in the Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home at the age of 96 years.

Beulah Lucille Hill was born on August 1, 1920 in Brairtown, Oklahoma, to Joseph Newton and Martha (Barnes) Peters. She married Eugene V. Hill on January 25, 1940, in Briartown, Oklahoma, and he preceded her in death on August 24, 1992. She enjoyed raising flowers in her backyard. She loved to spend time with her family and being grandma to her grandchildren and the neighborhood children. She enjoyed cooking for her family, especially for holiday meals.

She is survived by two sons, Bob Hill of Plano, Texas, and Bruce Hill of Blackwell, Oklahoma; two daughters, Barbara Spiker and husband Terry of Salina, Oklahoma, and Brenda Tannehill and husband Dwight of Blackwell, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, James Hill; one grandson, Brian Lee McMartin; five brothers and two sisters.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 28, 2017, at the Blackwell Cemetery, Blackwell, Oklahoma, with Rev. Cliff Johnson, Tabernacle Church, Blackwell, Oklahoma, officiating.

Casketbearers will be Andrew Simmons, Tyler Simmons, Zachary Simmons, Michael Tannehill, Robert Hill and Travis Hammer.
