Obituary for Arly LeClair

Arly Ryan LeClair passed away at his home on Friday, December 5, 2014. He had reached the age of 29 years. He was born on May 30, 1985 in Ponca City and was the youngest child of Arlington W. LeClair and Eleanor HairyBack LeClair.

Visitation will be at the Otoe-Missouria Cultural Center on December 9, 2014. Prayer services will begin around 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. A traditional meal will be served at 12 noon Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the Otoe-Missouria Tribal Cultural Building in Red Rock and services to follow officiated by Rev. Louis Headman, pastor of the Ponca Indian Nazarene Church. Burial will follow in the Ponca Indian Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.

Arly attended the Ponca City schools before going to work for the Kaw Nation at their Bingo enterprise and then their smoke shop, he then worked in fast food before going to work as a security guard for the Ponca Tribe at the Lil Bit of Paradise Casino as a slot supervisor. Arly enjoyed his extracurricular activities and never missed a shinny game and was always there for his pool league, he was an avid game player and spent hours online and loved his books which he could also spend hours reading.

Arly is on his journey home and leaves behind his father, Arlington and step-mother Mae of Ponca City; brothers Arlington LeClair Jr. of Tulsa, Joseph Charles LeClair of Ponca City, Aaron Charles LeClair of Newkirk, Baptiste Delodge of Red Rock, Antoine Delodge of Ponca City, James LeClair of Ponca City. Sisters Avery LeClair, Tulsa, Allana Macadana of California, Latasha Youker of Ponca City and his aunts Sandra Howell of Pawnee and Tina Youker of Ponca City, his uncle Rex LeClair of Tulsa; grandmothers Rosetta LeClair of Ponca City, Charlene Lieb of Tulsa, his nieces Shala, Sandra, Florence and Jamie LeClair and nephews Jordan, Arlington III, Aaron Jr., Seth LeClair and other members of his extended family.

Arly was preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor in 2003, a sister Sandra LeClair in 2000, his maternal grandparents, Joe and Marcella HairyBack and his paternal grandparents, Ed Charles and Ada Rose LeClair and several uncles and aunts.

Casket bearers are Bryon LeClair, Jordon LeClair, Arlington LeClair III, Baptiste Delodge, Antoine Delodge, James LeClair, Scott Lieb, Sean LeClair and Seth LeClair. Honorary casket bearers are his co-workers at the Lil Bit of Paradise Casino in Red Rock.

Arly was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
