Aimee Danielle Tyler

May 20, 1984 ~ April 4, 2023 (age 38)

Aimee Danielle Tyler, 38, born in Fresno, California on May 20, 1984, the beloved daughter of Leonard Tyler and Julia Kent, passed away April 4, 2023 at her home in Blackwell, Oklahoma.

She grew up in Blackwell and attended Blackwell Public Schools and received her GED in 2002 in West Plains, Missouri. While in Missouri, she worked for Hyla Vacuums and Walmart until becoming a Certified Nurses Assistant in 2007 as well as a homemaker with her then husband, Cody Holt, who she married on October 21, 2005. Of all the endeavors Aimee pursued during her working career, she was exceptionally proud of her time as receptionist and security at the Coble Stone where she formed a special bond with Mrs. Chris Ann, the owner and a mentor she looked up to.

Aimee was an artist and had many other amazing talents; with a love and appreciation for music and enjoyed attending rock concerts with her family. But of all her talents and accomplishments, her greatest achievement in life was the birth of her daughter, Mylee Alyssa Holt in Noverber 2007. Growing up, Aimee made countless lifelong friendships that she treasured most. She was a rock and a friend to all who knew her and would lend her support and show her dedication whenever she was needed. Aimee never met a stranger and will be a treasure so dearly missed by all who know and love her.

Those left behind to cherish Aimee’s memory are her sisters, Malynda Richardson of Stafford, Missouri and Sheela Tyler of Springfield, Missouri; her daughter, Mylee; a special sisterly cousin, Shauna Schierling of Blackwell, Oklahoma; and many family and countless friends that she held dear.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Julia.

There will be a celebration of life held on Aimee’s birthday, May 20, 2023, at Kaw Lake Sandy Beach for all to attend in her honor.
