
Molly "Nay" Rowell
December 30, 1996 - May 11, 2025
Molly Renee (Nay) Rowell, age 28, passed away peacefully at her home in Ponca City, Oklahoma, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was surrounded by family and friends who loved her deeply. Though her time on earth was far too short, Nay’s light shone brightly in every life she touched.
Nay was a vibrant, creative soul who found joy in music, art, and the beauty of self-expression. A proud graduate of Ponca City Beauty College, Nay had a passion for creating eclectic and unique hairstyles and makeup looks that were as bold and beautiful as her personality. It was hard to deny Nay’s steadfast spirit, which brought comfort and inspiration to all who knew her. Whether she was laughing with friends over a favorite cartoon, watching movies with family, listening to the most diverse music playlist, or setting off on an adventure, Nay brought warmth, color, and love into the lives around her.
Nay is survived by her devoted parents, Teresa and Jimmy Rowell of Ponca City, OK; her brothers Eric Garza, Andrew Garza, and Thomas Rowell all of Ponca City, OK; a bonus brother, Matthew Garza of Andover, KS; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Vita Hix of Ponca City, OK and Walter and Linda Sue Rowell of Blackwell, OK, and her two half-brothers Cody Rowell and Christopher Rowell both of Blackwell, OK.
Nay was a member of Second Baptist Church in Ponca City, OK and had a testimony of salvation. We can rest assured that she is now in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, embraced by His eternal peace and love. A celebration of Nay’s life will be held on Saturday, May 24 at 11:00 a.m. at Second Baptist Church in Ponca City, Oklahoma. All who knew and loved Nay are welcome to join in honoring her beautiful life and memory.
