Logan Lee Shelton, 24, of Ponca City, OK, left this life on Saturday, May 30, 2026. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 4, 2026 at the Carolyn Renfro Center. Burial will immediately follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory in Ponca City, OK.
Logan was born on Thursday, May 2, 2002, in Oklahoma City, OK, to Bryce and LeCricia (Sowersby) Shelton.
Logan's Ballad
He embraced the day with no fear for tomorrow,
Let not one smile be chased off by sorrow.
A smile much brighter than his sunny, blond hair,
Had a heart so compassionate, he couldn't not care.
He could make a new friend out of everyone he met,
He lived for today so he'd have no regret.
He loved to cook and make deserts by the mile,
Though not for the taste, he loved making us smile.
There was never a day he was wrong in his math,
And when proven right he'd smile then laugh
Though he'd stubbornly challenge and disagree like no other,
For every mocking and tease, I'll miss my dear brother.
No matter the struggles I never heard him complain,
No matter how dark or how heavy the rain.
Always ready to tease with a joke at hand,
To us it never made sense, “It's a Logan thing, you wouldn't understand.”
