Linda Castleman

Linda Castleman, 80, beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Sister, was called to her eternal resting place on September 15, 2025. She entered this world on August 13, 1945, in Great Bend, KS, born to Delbert L. and Bertha Hothan Hurst.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, September 19, 2025, at Grace Memorial Chapel with Pastor Gary Wilburn officiating. Interment will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery., visitation will be held Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the funeral home from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Linda grew up in Borger, TX and attended Borger, TX Schools. Linda met the love of her life, Johnny Castleman and they were married April 23, 1966, in Borger, TX making their first home in Fort Sill, OK. Linda was a dedicated housewife, and she enjoyed spoiling her family especially the grandkids. She also enjoyed bowling, fishing, crocheting, ceramics and watching her Atlanta Braves, she was a Hugh fan... After Johnny retired from the United States Army they moved back to Oklahoma in 1984.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her two sons; Johnny R. Castleman Jr of Ponca City, OK and Rick Castleman and wife Angela of Leitchfield, KY, one daughter; Shelli French and husband Greg of Kaw City, OK, grandchildren; Justin Jenkins, Skylar Golay and husband Stoney, Austin French and wife Bailey, Ricky Castleman Jr, Riley Castleman, Devin Buley, and numerous great grandchildren, she is also survived by two brothers; Sherman Hurst of Fritch, TX and Wayne Hurst of Borger, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Johnny of 57 years.
