Kymberly “Kym” Jean Vap, 66, of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at her home on October 15, 2025. Kym was born on December 16, 1958, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to Vickie Crawford. She worked for many years as a talented residential painter, known for her exceptional eye for color and design. Whether working inside or outside a home, Kym had a gift for transforming spaces and creating warmth and beauty. She loved flowers and gardening and poured her heart into crafting and decorating. Kym had a kind and giving spirit, always ready to lend a hand, and she loved the Lord deeply. Above all, Kym adored her family. Her greatest joy was being “Nana,” and she cherished her grandchildren beyond measure.

Kym is survived by: her daughters: Sasha Steelmon and husband, Wyley, Lindsey Wolf and husband, Dylon, all of Ponca City, OK, Leigh Ann Gilles and husband, Kael, of Oklahoma City, OK, and Amy Arbona and husband, Tony of Ponca City, OK. She also leaves behind: her beloved grandchildren, Maison and Mia Steelmon, Adalynn and Aven Hobbs, McKinley and Grayson Wolf, Zayden and Raeleigh Gilles, and Taylor, Lance, Marli, Evelyn, and Swayzie Arbona; her brother, Monty Eckler of Ponca City, OK; and many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was married to the love of her life and soul mate, Tony Vap, for 22 years before he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Vickie and Don Crawford, and brother Shane Bailey. Kym will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, unwavering faith, and the beautiful smile that could light up any room. Her warmth and love will continue to live on in the countless lives she touched.
