Dee Dee was born on the 21st of May, 1964, to Danny and Judy Marchesoni. She had a strong, infectious laugh with a spicy personality. Dee Dee claimed the title of Queen of Everything. She was driven by a passion for a life of service. Dee Dee graduated from Ponca City High School in 1983. She earned her advanced education at Northern Oklahoma College and Northwestern State University. Dee Dee received a basketball scholarship from both institutions. She received her Bachelor’s of Arts in Education.
After teaching, Dee Dee began her next adventure working at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in the Emergency Department. A job she spoke fondly of with great friends and memories. Dee Dee was the Life Share Organ Donor Coordinator. She felt this program was the ultimate gift of life. During this time, Dee Dee welcomed her son, Jeremy Alan Gregg, and her Daughter, Sarah Deneen Gregg. She fiercely loved her children.
Dee Dee would see a need, causing her to say, “They are going to force me to run this,” with her known smile. She would do just that. She was on the Boy Scout Council and led numerous other roles for the Boy Scouts of America.
Dee Dee always has a special place in her heart for children. She became a Child Advocate and the coordinator of the Osage and Pawnee County Multiple Discipline Team through the District Attorney’s Office. This is where she found her true calling: serving Oklahoma's citizens.
Over the course of an over 20-year career with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, helped countless children in her work as a Social Worker. Dee Dee’s pride was her work in foster care. She was a proud Osage Nation Indian Child Welfare Resource Home.
Dee Dee’s passion was only second to her family: her Beloved Oklahoma Sooners. Coach Marchesoni could be heard across the State of Oklahoma during game time. No one was allowed to talk during games as she would yell, “HANG HALF OF A 100 ON ‘EM!”
Dee Dee welcomed Jason William Marchesoni into loving arms, followed shortly by Kalem Anthony Marchesoni and Ivy Leigh Marchesoni. Dee Dee's love for her grandchildren never wavered.
