George Calvin Harman, 93, of Perry, OK, died on July 7, 2025 at the Kansas Veterans' Home in Winfield, KS. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, July 11, 2025, at Christ Lutheran Church in Perry, OK. Burial will immediately follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Ponca City, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.
George was born October 20, 1931, in Garber, OK, to Leslie Calvin and Mina (Disney) Harman. After graduating from Garber High School, he married Kathryn Durheim on July 6, 1953, in Enid, OK. He worked many years as a Diesel Mechanic. He and Kathryn were lifetime members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
George is survived by: his sons, James "Hat" Harman and his wife, Janell, Donald Gene Harman, Dale Blake Harman; brother, Leslie Gene Harman; sister, Mary Jane Adam; 2 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by: his wife, Kathryn; parents, Leslie and Mina; and sister, Edna Mae.
