Frances Melvin

Frances Melvin passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 70. Frances was born on March 26, 1956, and raised in Perry, Oklahoma where she graduated high school in 1974.
She was very skilled and meant many things to many people. One can only describe her as a legend.
As a jack of all trades she worked many jobs from cashier to construction building lifelong friendships along the way. She had a passion for nature and a green thumb for life.
She valued spending her time bringing joy to those around her.
She will be greatly missed and remembered forever.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald (Dan) Melvin and children, Michelle, Victoria, Danielle, Tim, Tracee, Ronald II, Gary, 16 grand children and 6 great grand children.

A Funeral Service celebrating Frances' exceptional life will be held on May 26, 2026, at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Monday, May 25, 2026, from 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Trout Funeral Home. We invite all who knew and loved Frances to join us in honoring her memory.
