Catherine "Cathy" Suzanne Woodward-Hill, 78, of Ponca City, OK, entered Heaven's Gates on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at her home. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Glad Tidings Assembly of God, Ponca City, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.
Cathy was born on Thursday, September 11, 1947, in San Antonio, TX, to Alfred Carroll Hearn and Virginia "Ginny" Lea (Turek) Mullins. Her father tragically died during WWII. Her mother remarried Jack Mullins, who lovingly raised her as his own. Cathy enjoyed bowling, played Chicken Foot every Friday, and was an active member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed time with them. She was an avid sports lover. Her most favorite teams included the Dallas Cowboys, OKC Thunder, OU, and the Wichita State Shockers. Her famous Wesson oil cake will certainly be missed by everyone as well!
Cathy is survived by: her husband, Carrol Hill of the home; children, David Wright and his wife, Lisa, of Wichita, KS, Jeff Woodward and his wife, Kelly, of Ponca City, OK, daughter, Debbie Smock of Broken Arrow, OK; son-in-law, James Smock of Broken Arrow, OK; bonus-children, Doug Hill and his wife, Tammy, of Bartlesville, OK, Roger Hill and his wife, Joy, of Ponca City, OK, Kyle Hill of Blackwell, OK; grandchildren, Baylee Cook, Dayton Colberg, Riley Jackson, Taylor Straight, Nick Jackson, Noah Woodward, Everett Smock; five great-grandchildren; bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, William C. Hearne and his wife Karen, John Mullins and his wife, Diane, and their daughter, Shana Lamb; sister-in-law, Linda Fern McGehee and her husband, Dwight, of Wichita, KS, and their daughter, Blair; brother-in-law, Jeffrey Grant and his wife, Marsha, of Parachute, CO, and their children, Ashley, Jimmie, Jorjie, and Josh; sister-in-law, Cindy Onions of Hot Springs, AR; several nephews, and other family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Jimmie William Wright, and second husband, Norman Dale Woodward.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Dayton Colberg, Nick Jackson, Noah Woodward, and Everett Smock.
