
Amanda Zemp

Amanda Marie Zemp, age 47, of Stillwater, passed away on October 30, 2025, at Stillwater Medical Center with her family by her side, after courageously battling MS and ALS.
Amanda was born on December 30, 1977, in Perry. She grew up in Perry and graduated from Perry High School in 1996. She attended the University of Oklahoma, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and solidified her lifelong allegiance to her beloved Sooners.
In 1997, Amanda married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Jeremy Zemp. Together, they built a beautiful life and were blessed with two children, Maleah and Tanner.
Amanda spent many years as a dedicated nurse, caring for patients at the Stillwater Women’s Clinic, Stillwater Medical Center Labor & Delivery, and the Stillwater Cancer Center. Her love and compassion touched thousands, first through her work with mothers and babies, and later as she cared for patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. Amanda was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and her ability to form a genuine bond with everyone she met.
Amanda took great pride in being the ultimate cheer and soccer mom, supporting Maleah through years of competitive and high school cheer, cheering for Tanner at his traveling soccer games, and sharing countless adventures with Jeremy through their travels with Ditch Witch.
Survivors include her husband, Jeremy, and children, Maleah and Tanner; parents, Randy and Connie Mendenhall and Mike and Brenda King; and siblings, Jennifer (Denton) Farrar, Sarah (Colton) Brien, Ashley (Michael) Pritchett, and Robert (Amanda) King.
She was preceded in death by Harold and Peggy Beier, Katherine Mason, Cecil Mendenhall, and Earl and Donna King.
Casket bearers will be Matt Lumbers, Levi Valdois, Mike Wilda, Denton Farrar, Colton Brien, and Michael Pritchett.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Sunnybrook Christian Church, with Pastor Jim Johnson officiating. Amanda will be laid to rest at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry, following the service.
