NOC Tonkawa Hosting Northern Encounter February 7

Northern Oklahoma College Tonkawa is hosting a Northern Encounter recruiting event on Wednesday, Feb. 7 from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. at the Renfro Center.

There will be door prizes, free SWAG, campus tour, meetings with faculty/staff, and a drawing for tuition waivers.

According to Vice President for Enrollment Management Dr. Rick Edgington students will be provided a schedule, much like an average NOC student’s schedule.  After a brief welcome and introduction, students will disperse to classrooms throughout campus and will attend “mini-classes” delivered by NOC faculty and staff.

Registration is from 8:45 a.m. – 9 a.m. with the event ending at 11 a.m.  Students can register for Northern Encounter at www.noc.edu .

Northern Oklahoma College, the state’s first public two-year community college, is a multi-campus, land-grant institution that provides high quality, accessible, and affordable educational opportunities and services.
