Ponca City Now - August 26, 2015 10:26 am

Newkirk High School students Keenan Barnes, Madison Eubank and Alena Hornick and band director Kristina Lindstrom joined KLOR and KPNC’s morning shows today to talk about the Newkirk High School Marching Band’s "Peach Bowl or Bust" campaign.

The Tiger Pride Marching Band, composed of students in grades 7-12, have been invited to perform in Atlanta on New Years Eve to compete and perform at the 2015 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.

The band is self-sufficient when it comes to funding. They have set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds and will have other fundraisers coming up. They have a goal of $35,000 and welcome all donations.
