Minco Public Schools Receives Online Threat Threatening Violence at Next Home High School Football Game

After receiving online threats inciting violence during the next home high school football game, the Minco Public Schools has released a statement acknowledging the video of the threat.

According to MPS, not only was the school threatened, but some of the students were contacted and threats of violence were made toward the schools for Monday.

In the statement from the school, it states that the Minco School Resource Officer, who is a Grady County Deputy Sheriff, was contacted immediately.

After a brief investigation, the person of interest was taken into custody.

The name of the person of interest name has not been released.
