Martha Stewart Takes Home Eight Eastern Redbuds from Tulsa Nursery During Oklahoma Visit

KTUL-Tulsa - April 10, 2022 12:30 pm

Martha Stewart took a little piece of Oklahoma home with her after her visit to the state coordinated by OSU’s Center for Executive and Professional Development.

She spoke Wednesday at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center in downtown Tulsa, and made time to visit some local shops as well.

Stewart posted a picture to Instagram of her with eight cercis canadensis, or eastern redbuds, sitting on a plane.

Stewart said she bought them at the Stringer Nursery in Tulsa.
Eastern redbuds are the state tree of Oklahoma.
