TULSA, Okla. (AP) – Authorities say a 33-year-old man was killed in a three-vehicle wreck that sent seven other people to Tulsa hospitals.

The Tulsa World (http://bit.ly/1aJM1Ii ) reports the Monday night crash occurred on U.S. 75 at the Interstate 44 junction in southwest Tulsa. Police say reduced visibility from fog and mist on the highway contributed to the crash.

Tulsa police Sgt. August Terbock said in a news release the crash initially appeared to be between two vehicles, with another later becoming involved. He says officials don’t believe alcohol use played a role in the accident.

A spokeswoman with the Emergency Medical Services Authority says one person was taken to a hospital but didn’t require medical treatment.
