Man dies crossing low-water bridge

STILWELL — A fatal water related incident occurred Wednesday afternoon 3 miles east of Stilwell in Adair County.

Victor French, 53, of Stilwell, attempted to cross a low water bridge on a county road and the water was too high. His vehicle was swept off the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Pafford EMS.
