Man arrested in Drumright murder

Agents from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, with help from Drumright police, Oilton police and the Creek County Drug Task Force, have arrested a Drumright man for the murder last week of 64-year-old David Hunziker.

Gregory Hamilton Griffith, 40, was arrested on a complaint of first-degree murder at the Oilton Police Department early this morning. He was booked into the Drumright jail.

Griffith was an acquaintance of the victim, the OSBI reports . Authorities continue to investigate the case.

A family member found Hunziker dead inside his Drumright home. The Drumright Police Department requested OSBI assist with the investigation.

The medical examiner has taken possession of Hunziker’s body for an autopsy, the OSBI reported .
