TALALA, OKLA. (KTUL) — A traffic stop for speeding in Talala, OK, turns into a drug bust, with two men arrested.
Talala Police pulled over a vehicle for going 72 mph in a 45 mph zone through town Monday evening and found signs of intoxication, according to the department.
Officials also located trafficking-level fentanyl, a stolen firearm from Texas, a modified AR-style pistol, several high-capacity magazines, and a large stash of ammo.
The driver and passenger, identified as David Hernandez and Maiano Tierrablanca, were taken into custody.
ICE holds were placed on both men. Officials report they did not have any form of legal identification.
Pending charges include:
- Trafficking in CDS
- Possession of stolen property
- Carrying firearms under the influence
- Transporting a loaded firearm, and more.
