Toby Keith’s long-held dream of having a horse compete in the Kentucky Derby has come true, according to his family.
His daughter, Krystal Keith, posted on Instagram that their horse, Render Judgment, secured a spot in the prestigious race.
“Out of 20,000+ race horses born in the same year to be eligible for this year’s race, only 20 will race in the 2025 Kentucky Derby,” said Krystal. “My dad could never decide which passion was greater, music or horse racing. He could have had a PhD in horse pedigrees.”
Krystal said, win or lose, the fact that RJ made it to the Derby is everything to her.
