The Northern Oklahoma Division of Fine Arts presents “The Foreigner” in the Dineo Heilmann Auditorium inside the Kinzer Performing Arts Center at NOC Tonkawa.
Showtime is 7:30 p.m. Oct. 2-4 and 2 p.m. on Oct. 5.
“The Foreigner” is a play about understanding, kindness, and the sometime unexpected ways in which we connect with one another,” said director Nathan Oesterle. “It’s a celebration of what can happen when we take the time to see each other—not as strangers—but as people, just as imperfect, just as vulnerable, and just as capable of love and laughter as anyone else.”
“It has been an absolute joy to bring The Foreigner to life with this incredible cast,” he added. “The blend of humor, heart, and humanity that Larry Shue crafted in this play is a challenge to navigate, but the cast has truly risen to the occasion. I could not be prouder of the work they have done—each actor has brought depth, warmth, and a perfect dose of wit to their characters. Their dedication and commitment to telling this story have been inspiring.”
Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for children. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Admission is free for NOC students, faculty, and staff with ID.
“The Foreigner” by Larry Shue, is directed by NOC Technical Theatre Instructor Nathan Oesterle.
