State Senator and longtime Ponca City business leader Bill Coleman announced today that he will file for re-election to serve his third and final term representing Senate District 10.
“For the past seven years, the people of District 10 have trusted me to be their voice at the Capitol—not the voice of special interests or government bureaucracy,” Coleman said. “I’ve honored that trust by showing up, doing the work, and fighting for our values every single day.”
Coleman pointed to his 99 percent attendance record and 98 percent voting record as proof of his commitment to accountability and service.
“I made a promise to be present and engaged, and I’ve kept it,” Coleman said. “I don’t serve for a paycheck, a title, or political games. I serve because this district deserves someone who takes the responsibility seriously and never phones it in.” Coleman said the stakes facing Oklahoma families demand experienced, proven leadership. “Oklahomans are fed up with government overreach, wasteful spending, and constant attacks on our freedoms,” he said. “I’ve stood strong against all of it. I helped deliver major tax relief—including eliminating the grocery tax—so families can keep more of what they earn. I’ve defended our constitutional rights, fought relentlessly for the unborn, and pushed back every time big government tried to insert itself into our homes, our pocketbooks, or our way of life.”
Coleman emphasized his commitment to conservative, limited-government principles. “We need leaders who are willing to say no—no to bloated budgets, no to fraud and waste, and no to policies that weaken the values that built Oklahoma,” Coleman said. “I’ve proven I’ll stand in that gap every time.”
Coleman’s conservative leadership has earned the respect of his colleagues. He currently serves as Chairman of the Senate Business and Insurance Committee, has been appointed as a presiding officer during Senate sessions, and was elected Majority Whip of the Republican Senate Caucus last year.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve District 10,” Coleman said. “I’ve built the experience and relationships necessary to deliver real results—not talk, not promises, but results. This district deserves a senator who knows how to work the system without being owned by it.” “As this campaign moves forward,” Coleman added, “I’ll continue listening to the people of District 10 and sharing a clear, conservative vision to protect our freedoms, strengthen our communities, and keep Oklahoma moving forward.”
