TULSA, Oklahoma — The NOC Sheep Production and Management class participated in the Open Sheep show at the Tulsa State Fair last week with great success exhibiting the NOC Sheep Center Show Flock.
Participants in the class include Paige Burns, Washington, OK; Morgan Dolezal, Perry, OK; Lilly Martin, Bennington, OK; and Rosa Mendiola, Kuna, ID. (in the backdrop pictures assisting the students were Jackson Harper of Madill and Adi Sheets of Perry)
The results of the show included NOC having the top exhibited flock of Dorset’s as they were named Premier Exhibitors. They exhibited the Champion and Reserve Champion Dorset Rams and the Champion Dorset Ewe. In the Hampshire Division they exhibited the Champion Hampshire Ram and the Reserve Champion Hampshire Flock.
The student’s next event will be the North American International Livestock Exposition in November.
