Sanseverino was killed on July 19, 1997, while visiting a home in the 500 block of North Franklin in Sand Springs.

Detectives said Cutnose had long been considered a suspect. The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office said its Cold Case Task Force and investigators recently developed new information that led prosecutors to file charges.
