The Kay County OSU Extension Office is pleased to announce that they will be serving as a Non-Congregate Summer Meal Service distribution site for youth ages 1–18 this summer. in Newkirk.
There is a significant gap in services in this area of our county, and they are very pleased to be able to provide this opportunity to the Newkirk and surrounding communities.
The non-congregate summer meal service is a weekly boxed meal pick-up program that provides shelf-stable meals for youth. Each box contains 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches for each child. Distribution will occur weekly throughout June and July at the Kay County Extension Office in Newkirk.
Meals distributed June 1,10, 17, and 24 and July 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 10am to noon.
