OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — Shoppers at Homeland grocery stores across the state have recently been greeted with empty shelves.
Homeland, a 100% employee-owned grocery company based in Oklahoma City, cites financial pressures and supply challenges as the reason for the stock shortages.
Over the second half of this year, financial pressures and supply challenges unfortunately extended into the holidays, our busiest time of the year. As a result, some of our stores are not in the condition our customers expect or deserve.
As we head into the new year under new leadership, our focus is on returning to the basics—clean, well-stocked stores and exceptional service. We are confident in our ability to restore these standards and continue moving forward.
We are grateful for the patience, grace, and continued support our customers have shown, and for the commitment of our employee-owners who continue to serve their communities through a challenging period.
