Authorities say two men are behind bars following a robbery of a casino winner.

Around 5:15 p.m. on June 25, officers with the Tulsa Police Department began investigating a robbery report.

The victim told police that he spoke with his friend, identified as 21-year-old Dwayne Hastings, and told him that he’d just hit it big at the casino.

Hastings asked him to hang out, and the two met up at the Maverik gas station near 41st and Sheridan.

As they met, the victim says Hastings said he had to go up to an apartment and quickly walked away.

At that point, a masked man arrived with a gun and took the victim’s phone, wallet, money, and medication.

The victim says he didn’t hear from Hastings after the robbery.

Authorities arrested 33-year-old Mandell Kent on complaints of conjoint robbery and possession of a firearm after a felony.

Police also arrested Hastings on complaints of conjoint robbery, possession of a firearm after a felony, destroying evidence, and obstructing an officer.
