Students in the Pioneer Technology Center Practical Nursing program have been selected to receive scholarships funded by the Community Health Foundation. Recipients include Brandy Welch of Ponca City, Darrian Black of Ponca City, Katie Hernandez of Ponca City, Laryn Rice of Fairfax, and Kaylee Hall of Ponca City along with Stephanie Cain of Ponca City, Jamica Bass of Ponca City, Tobie Irvin of Blackwell, Chloe Lawver of Ponca City, and Kailee Peetoom of Blackwell .
The Community Health Foundation, established in 2006, is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Kay County residents through education, scholarships, and community partnerships. Each Fall and Spring semester, the Foundation provides scholarship support to students in Pioneer Tech’s Practical Nursing program, helping them progress toward their educational and career goals. Pioneer Technology Center values this ongoing partnership and recognizes the Foundation’s role in strengthening the local healthcare workforce.
