OKLAHOMA CITY – Rep. Ken Luttrell, R-Ponca City, was recently honored by the Petroleum Alliance of Oklahoma for his steadfast support of Oklahoma’s oil and natural gas industry during his time in the Legislature. Luttrell has worked extensively on energy policy while serving as vice chair of the House Energy Committee, chairman of the Center for Legislative Energy and Environmental Research (CLEER), and as a member of The Energy Council.
Through these roles, Luttrell has worked to support responsible energy development and policies that strengthen Oklahoma’s economy and energy workforce.
“Supporting Oklahoma’s energy industry has been one of the most meaningful parts of my time serving in the Legislature,” Luttrell said. “Through my work on the House Energy Committee, CLEER and The Energy Council, I’ve had the opportunity to advocate for responsible policies that keep Oklahoma a leader in energy production while supporting jobs and communities across our state.”
The alliance is the statewide trade association representing every segment of Oklahoma’s oil and natural gas industry and works to advocate for policies that support energy development, investment and job growth across the state.
“As I near the end of my time in the Legislature, I’m proud of the work we’ve done to support one of Oklahoma’s most important industries,” Luttrell said. “Energy has long been a cornerstone of our state’s economy, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve.”
