On Tuesday Jan. 13, Ponca City PD Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that initially refused to stop for the Officers. When the driver finally stopped the vehicle, Officers identified the driver as 31 year old Thomas Kollars. Agents with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, the District Eight Task Force and the Kay County Sheriff’s Office also arrived on scene to assist. After K9 Maxx indicated a positive presence of drugs in the vehicle, a search was conducted.
During the search, Officers located 12.1 grams of Fentanyl and multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia, including pipes and baggies used to package illegal drugs for the purpose of sales and distribution.
Thomas Kollars was arrested by PCPD Officers, agents with the District Eight Task Force and agents with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics on 11/19/2025 for Aggravated Trafficking of Fentanyl after a PCPD Officer conducted a traffic stop on his vehicle. Kollars was released on bond for that case.
On 12/27/2025, Kollars was arrested again by PCPD Officers when he was found trespassing at Walmart. In that arrest, Officers again located a trafficking amount of Fentanyl in Kollars’ possession.
Kollars will be transported to the Kay County Detention Center to face his newest charges of Aggravated Trafficking of Fentanyl, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License.
These charges are arrests, not convictions.
