OSAGE COUNTY, Okla. –
The Osage County Sheriff’s Office needs help identifying a suspect in an apparent road rage shooting that happened on Sunday.
OCSO said the incident happened near 1685 209th West Avenue, near the entrance to the Town of Osage, northeast of Cleveland.
Investigators said the victim, a DoorDash driver, was traveling westbound on 209th West Avenue when an altercation with another driver occurred.
Authorities said the victim pulled his vehicle to the side of the roadway, then the suspect allegedly fired a single shot through the rear window of the victim’s vehicle.
The victim sustained minor injuries from the shattered glass.
Authorities said the suspect is believed to be a newer-model Jeep Gladiator with an Oklahoma license plate of unknown number. The car had a handicap placard hanging from the rearview mirror and was being driven by a white male.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Osage County Sheriff’s Office immediately at 918-287-3131.
Authorities also advised the public not to approach the suspect.
