MOORE, OKLA. (KOKH) — The U.S. Marshal, Moore Police Department, and U.S. Attorney General’s Office are holding a press conference at 1:30 p.m. at the Federal Courthouse in Oklahoma City.
After 13 years on the run, Anthony Lennon was found in New York by investigators from the OKC US Marshals Office and the Moore Police Department. He’s accused of staging his disappearance more than a decade ago.
In March 2012, Lennon was wanted on multiple counts of possession of child pornography after a previous 2008 conviction on aggravated child porn charges, according to law enforcement.
For 13 years, Lennon evaded officials. However, he was found in New York under the alias “Justin Phillips”.
The case is still actively under investigation.
