The 2026 Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon is happening on Sunday, April 26, with events and other races the entire weekend.

The Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon is a celebration of the city’s strength and resilience after the bombing that killed 168 people in 1995. The marathon serves as the primary fundraiser for the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum and its mission. The 2026 event is the largest ever, with more than 30,000 set to run on Sunday.

When is the Oklahoma City Marathon?

Race weekend begins on Friday, April 24, 2026, with the Health and Fitness Expo at the Oklahoma City Convention Center. On Saturday, April 25, the 5K, Senior Marathon, and Kids Marathon are all happening in the morning.

The quarter, half, and full marathons are on Sunday, April 26. The full marathon begins at 6:30 am on Sunday.

Where does the Oklahoma City Marathon start?

The marathon begins at the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum, at 620 N. Harvey Ave. in Oklahoma City.

How do I register for the Oklahoma City Marathon races?

The 2026 half and full marathons are sold out, as well as the quarter marathon. There are still limited spots available for the 5K, Kids, and Senior Marathons on Saturday.

Race day registration is not available. If entries are still available after online registration closes, late registration for available spots in any of the races will be held at the Health & Fitness Expo on Friday and Saturday.

When is the Health and Fitness Expo Open?

The Health and Fitness Expo is happening at the Oklahoma City Convention Center at 100 Mick Cornett Dr. The event is presented by the Visit OKC and OU Health, is a two-day, public event that showcases exhibitors with a wide array of products and services geared toward runners, walkers, and health-minded consumers.

  • Friday, April 24 – 11:00 am to 7:00 pm (Open at 10:00 am for Senior Marathon participants)
  • Saturday, April 25 – 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Where can I find official race day gear for the Oklahoma City Marathon?

Gear will be available to purchase at the Health and Fitness Expo. The OKC Memorial Marathon also has an online shop featuring official race gear. Runners may purchase official race merchandise on Race Day at the Merchandise Booth in the Finishers Plaza.

Parking for the Oklahoma City Marathon

There are several privately owned parking lots close to the Start and Finish Lines, many of which provide free or discounted parking. Please do not park in any residential, church or business driveways or parking lots that are not listed on the parking map. You can be towed.
