TULSA, Okla. –![]()
One person is in custody after a man allegedly shot BB pellets at utility workers in Tulsa, according to police.
The Tulsa police Department says PSO workers were shutting off power at a home near North Birmingham Place and East Pine Street due to reports of power theft when someone shot at them with BB pellets.
TPD says the suspect, identified as Phillip Smith, shot at the workers from a nearby roof.
Police say Smith also stole the workers’ ladder before officers surrounded his home.
After taking Smith into custody, investigators say BB pellets and the ladder were recovered.
Smith was booked on complaints of assault with a dangerous weapon and knowingly concealing stolen property.
