OKLAHOMA CITY – Mad Science partners with schools to offer STEM enrichment programs designed to boost academic achievement while sparking curiosity and creativity.

Through interactive experiments and guided activities, students reinforce classroom learning by doing rather than just observing.

The programs are typically offered as weekly, one-hour after-school workshops that run four to six weeks. Classes are kept small to allow students to actively participate, and all supplies are included. Topics range from space and nature to robotics, engineering and chemistry.

Organizers say the goal is not only to teach science concepts, but also to build essential 21st-century skills such as teamwork, critical thinking and problem-solving. The programs are designed to encourage students to ask questions, test ideas and think like scientists.

Mad Science also focuses on expanding access to STEM education by encouraging participation from underrepresented groups and offering student scholarships for its enrichment programs.

As part of its partnership with schools, Mad Science provides additional support through free STEM Family Night events, which include a science show and interactive booths designed to engage students and parents together.

With colorful experiments and enthusiastic instructors, Mad Science aims to strengthen school communities by bringing students, teachers and families together around discovery and learning.

Schools and families interested in learning more about Mad Science’s STEM enrichment programs can find additional information through the organization’s website.
